You can roll your eyes while sitting through 30 to 45 minutes of advertising before the feature film starts (it almost feels like your dentist is performing a root canal). Or like INTERFILM BERLIN SHORT FILM DISTRIBUTION, you can follow an old, but nearly forgotten cinematic tradition and fill this span of time with a short supporting film before the main film is screened. But how do you choose one? The SUPPORTING FILM CONTEST shows a rapid succession of five- to seven-minute long films to an audience who then selects which ones could fill this spot.
