When one looks at the news, one is overcome more and more often by the feeling that reality has overtaken satire these days. The events are too far-fetched, too nuts to pass for normal. Fortunately, art’s not afraid to go for broke and double down on the surreal mess we find ourselves in. Everything slides even deeper into the grotesque, forcing us to take a good look in the mirror.
