MC 04 Weronika Bilska - Polish Cinematography


Weronika Bilska has worked behind the camera for a wide range of films, lending them her own very personal perspective. She has been honoured multiple times for her cinematographic talent. In her masterclass, she will speak about her experiences as a camerawoman on set, as well as on the development of her personal visual language. In addition, she will elucidate why the key to understanding Polish film pedagogy and visual aesthetics can be found in Romanticism.

Presenter: Weronika Bilska (born in 1983) completed her studies at the Faculty for Radio and Television of Silesian University in Katowice in 2011. She has won numerous awards, among other things for her “great cinematographic talent” for the short film LILA.

All events are free of charge and held in English. The events will take place online and the Zoom link is available by registration via interforum@interfilm.de.
