First love becomes etched in our minds like few others, so they say. It creates intense tension, through eye contact and touch. We have to decide whether we want to hold on or let go, whether to open up to tenderness and intimacy. The films in this year's programme provide a vision of the variety of love and lovers. They generate a feeling of belonging within these forms of life. Nevertheless, demanding acceptance from society remains essential, in order to expand unilaterally decreed norms, or transcend them altogether.
